Let people book time with you

Share your booking link so others pick a free time in your calendar, and set up event types like a coffee chat or a demo.

Updated Oct 24, 2026

Your booking link lets anyone pick a time inside your available hours, without emails back and forth. Set your hours first: see Set the hours people can book.

Share your booking link

  1. In the sidebar, open Calendar, then the Schedule tab.
  2. On the Overview tab, find Your booking link and choose Copy.
  3. Paste the link in an email, a message or your website.

People who open the link sign in to StartupCorners, pick a meeting type (when you offer more than one), a date and a time, then choose Confirm booking. Times show in their own timezone.

Offer different kinds of meetings

Event types are the meetings people can choose from, each with its own length.

  1. On the Schedule page, choose New event type, or Create event type on the Event types tab.
  2. Fill in the Event name, a Description and the URL slug used in its link.
  3. Set the Length (minutes) and Max participants, and pick a Colour.
  4. Under Who can book?, keep Public so the type shows on your booking page. Pick Link only to leave it off your booking page: only people you send its own link to can pick it. Private keeps it to yourself: nobody else can book it.
  5. Leave Require approval off to confirm bookings straight away (Auto-confirm bookings). Switch it on when you want to confirm each one yourself (Bookings need your confirmation).
  6. Choose Save.

Each event type card has its own link that opens your booking page with that type already picked. Choose Copy on the card, or the share button at the bottom of the card to send the same link from your device's share options. Use the switch on a card to pause a type: it shows Paused and leaves your booking page until you switch it back on.

When someone books

What happens depends on the event type's Require approval switch.

  • Auto-confirm bookings: the booking is confirmed straight away. You get an email and a notification, and the booking is added to Meetings with its video room.
  • Bookings need your confirmation: the person sees Request sent. and the booking waits for you. Your email and notification say they want to book, and the request shows as Pending until you answer it.

A booking made without picking a type waits for you when any of your bookable types has Require approval on.

Confirm or decline a booking request

Requests waiting for you sit in the Booking requests card at the top of Meetings, with the person, the event type and its length, the date and time in your timezone, and their notes. The card shows only while a request is waiting, and only for bookings that have not started yet.

  1. Choose Confirm to accept. The request leaves the card, the booking is confirmed in your meetings with its video room, and the person gets an email saying you confirmed.
  2. Or choose Decline. Write a Reason (optional, sent to them) if you like, then choose Decline booking. The person gets an email saying you declined, with your reason, and a link to pick another time. Choose Cancel to keep the request.

See bookings in your own calendar

Choose Calendar on the Meetings page to see Upcoming bookings. To see bookings in your own calendar too, use the Calendar integrations card on that view and choose Connect next to Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook.

A connected calendar gets one event per booking, once it is confirmed: straight away for an auto-confirmed booking, when you choose Confirm for a request. Cancelling or declining a booking removes its event.
