Make a link for one person

Send your company page to one person with their own link, and see when they open it.

For foundersUpdated Oct 25, 2026

Your public link stays the same for everyone. An individual link is a second address for one person, so you can tell their visits apart and choose what they see.

A startup made in a course gets Links once it goes public. See Ask to make your student startup public.

Make the link

  1. In the sidebar, open Share and choose Make an individual link. Or open Links and choose New link.
  2. Under Recipient label, write who the link is for, like a firm or a person's name. Only you see this label.
  3. Optional settings:
    • Recipient email (optional): shown on the link's panel, for your own records. Nothing is sent to it.
    • Expires at (optional): the link stops working after this time.
    • Hide tabs: hide Team, Key metrics, Funding or Pitch deck from this person. See Hide tabs from one person.
    • Allow the recipient to download the pitch deck: on by default.
    • Personal note (optional): shown as a banner at the top of your page for this person.
    • Data room: attach private files. See Attach data room files to a link.
  4. Choose Create link.
  5. Copy it with the copy button on its row, or with Copy in its panel, and send it.

The person with the link counts as an investor on your page, so they see the parts you set to Mentors and investors. They don't need an account to open it.

These settings can't be changed once the link is made. To change them, make a new link and revoke the old one.

See who opened it

Open Links and pick the link. Its Event timeline fills the moment the link is opened. See Read a link's timeline.
